Lavallette Malta Student Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions

1. Terms Acceptance: Participation in this scheme implies agreement to these terms by the referrer.

2. Eligibility:

   • Alumni: Must have completed a La Vallette qualification.
   • Current Students: Must be actively enrolled (those who have discontinued their programme are ineligible).
   • Referred Individuals: Must meet the entry requirements for a GBS Malta programme.

3. Applicable Programmes: Only programmes taught directly by GBS Malta are included. A complete list of eligible programmes is available online. There is no limit to the number of referrals per academic year.

4. New Student Criteria:

   • Must include the referrer’s full name and Student ID in their application.
   • Must complete the admissions assessment.
   • Must enrol and pay the required fees.

5. Referral Fee Conditions:

   • Referrer’s full name and Student ID must be in the application.
   • New student must enrol and make the first tuition fee payment.

Scheme Adjustments

Lavallete Malta reserves the right to change the terms or withdraw the scheme at any time.

Jurisdiction

Disputes or claims will be governed by Maltese law.

• The referrer is entitled to a referral payment of 500 Euros for each new student they refer, where all terms and conditions of the student referral scheme are satisfied. Your payment will be subject to HMRC PAYE income tax and national insurance deductions.

• Payments will be made approximately 4 months following the start of the course. Timescales will vary depending on the course.

• The Lavallette Finance Department will collect relevant details ahead of payment, with the referrer being notified of the payment amount prior to the payment being made.

• Payments will only be made via bank transfer (BACS).

• No payment will be made if any tuition fees are in arrears for either the referrer or the new student.
