This one-year, full-time course is open to individuals aged 19 to 65 and comprises 1500 total learning hours, equivalent to 60 ECTS. Graduates can pursue various career paths, including event coordination, travel consultancy, and resort management, and are eligible for tax credits under the Malta Get Qualified Scheme.

The Undergraduate Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in theoretical knowledge, deep understanding, and practical skills critical for building a successful career in the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
The primary goal of this program is to equip students with the competence to apply their acquired skills, knowledge, and professional development in real-world scenarios relevant to the industry.

Get Qualified Scheme
La Vallette Institute is offering students access to the Malta Get Qualified Scheme, enabling
students to benefit from tax credits that help lower overall study costs. This scheme is highly
valuable, giving back 70% of tuition fees after graduation.
Upon completion of the course, students can pursue Level 6 of Tourism & Hospitality Management.

To enroll in this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Completion of an MQF Level 4 Course in Management (equivalent to 60 ECTS).
OR Holders of a minimum MQF Level 3 qualification with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the field of Tourism or Hospitality.
Language Proficiency:
Applicants are expected to have a strong command of the English language and provide evidence of achieving an IELTS score of 6.0 or its equivalent.
Students who do not have an IELTS score of 6.0 will either be requested to sit for a proficiency test held by La Vallette Institute or Students who fail the proficiency test will be given the opportunity to attend the Award in English Proficiency and Literary Competence at MQF level 4 offered by the institution along the hospitality program.
